Metrology Services. Programming and Scanning:

In order to get closer to companies, to find out about technical problems and provide a solution close at hand, a metrology service has been set up with the backing of two bodies - the IMH, which provides excellent theoretical and technical support, and Hexagon (DEA) contributing the latest technology on the market in three-dimensional metrology.

Laboratories and specialists in metrology will be increasingly necessary in the future, since the dimensional and geometrical tolerances are increasingly stricter and more complex. Metrology may turn out to be one of the keys in order to guarantee current product quality, and looking forward to the future, to compete and set the differences with different markets.

The increase of day to day rigorous precision requirements by companies require, in most cases, the use of high precision machines for its correct verification. This equipment is found in very few laboratories, and we have a PMM Leitz (see the paragraph below), capable of working at less than a micron.

Since DEA – IMH is aware of this situation, and with the aim of offering the best services in metrology in the Basque Country, it has put in place the operation of a measuring laboratory in order to offer their expertise in that area.

We have the latest generation of machines and software, which offer an accuracy better than the Micrometer (Micron), and laser cameras for reverse engineering or complex scanning.
