The IMH gets OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety at Work.

The Foundation for Machine-Tool Technical Training, which manages the IMH of Elgoibar, has obtained the Certificate OHSAS 18001:2007 Health and Safety at Work after overcoming the audit by AENOR.

OHSAS Certification (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) is a regulation developed by specialized agencies, and certified by international standards bodies, which aims to improve business management processes and workplace health and safety above the minimum required by law . OHSAS 18001 is designed to be compatible with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in order to help organizations effectively meet their obligations relating to health and safety.

IMH activity is subject to continuous improvement and as a result of this guideline, we are the first Institute for Technological Innovation (1998), we certified with ISO 9001 (1998), ISO 14001 (2005), the silver Q on the model EFQM Excellence (2000), the IiP Investors in People Standard (2005), Certificate of Quality Management Bikain Linguistics (2008) and recently obtained the certificate OHSAS 18001 (2010).
