New Course for Curriculum Vocational Training Cycles in IMH
The official wellcome for students of the first course of Cycles was held yesterday. Students of Cooperative Engineering, first course, will begin their training on 13 September.

The welcome ceremony for the 113 students of the first course of the Curriculum Vocational Training Cycles was held on 8 September. The 102 students of the second course came back on Monday and finally the 25 people who study the third course of the Ikasi eta Lan (Study and Work) modality have begun their lessons today. Therefore, this year 240 people will study the Curriculum Vocational Training at the Machine-Tool Institute of Elgoibar.
Following the trend of recent years the specialty assembly (Industrial Maintenance) is the one that most attracts students. On the other hand, 18% of students come from Elgoibar (43 people) and women represent 4% of the total (12 people). This course will already offer two higher grade Curriculum Vocational Training specialities, under the new curriculum: Design of Production by Machining (formerly Development of mechanical projects) and Production by Machining Scheduling (formerly Production by Machining).
On the other hand the first course' students of IMH Coop Engineering will start the academic course on September the 13th and after a month of intensive academic training on October 13 they will start working in enterprises (cooperative training). The second-year students are on their abroad stage, working for 12 weeks in a foreign company. The third-year students will present the industrial project in October, meanwhile, they continue working three days per week in a company and attending lessons two days per week in IMH. Average 100 people study IMH Cooperative Engineening in Elgoibar.
