The purpose of the meeting is to deepen cooperation between both associations towards the establishment of vocational training centers in India. AFM already has developed two vocational training centers in China (Tianjin) and Malaysia (Kulim). In these two projects, IMH has arranged and supplied the training assistance.

Both associations, IMTMA and AFM, pursue the possible establishment of a vocational training center in India in order to train professionals for manufacturers of machine tools, with the guidance and skills needed to produce machine tools at the highest level in a modern setting.
