Last meeting of The GAP project in Finland
Six students and two teachers from the IMH vocational curriculum training courses participated in this mobility
Ready for the stages of vocational curriculum trainining
Students in vocational curriculum training will begin their company stages period on March, in both domestic and foreign companies.
In February, the IMH will host the curriculum vocational training project "The Gap"
In the fourth phase of the project a group of teachers and students of curriculum vocational training from Norway, Denmark, Northern Ireland, Finland and Euskadi will meet in Elgoibar.

Students of IMH Vocational Curriculum Training in Northern Ireland
In collaboration with the NRC center, a representation of students and teachers of IMH professional training area met the educational system in Northern Ireland, in the framework of the Leonardo project the Gap Between Factory Skills and School Skills.
The Cooperative IMH Engineering School participates as speaker in the OECD/IMHE seminar
The international seminar will be held on 17-18 October in the Basque University and will examine the main challenges and opportunities of collaboration between vocational tertiary and university education for regional development.
Conference: Dual or cooperative training in the context of European Higher Education
The Machine Tool Institute has organized this international meeting on 28th October, where several representatives of European schools and entities will take part, to illustrate the study cases and experiences of a phenomenon which is growing in educational and social scopes
New signings for Curriculum Vocational Training Cycles in IMH
The official wellcome for students of the first course of Cycles was held this week, toghether with several former student's speeches. Students of Cooperative Engineering, first course, will begin their training on 12 September.
Cedefop meetings in IMHn
Training centers, companies and institutions from 8 European countries will take part in the meeting "study visit" organized by the Institute of Machine Tool Elgoibar from 7 to 10 June.

As there is a welcome activity to the new promotion of students from the Cooperative IMH Engineering School of Elgoibar, we also organize a special event with the tutors from the companies in their first year , in order to transmit the concept of the cooperative-system

The teachers of cycles from the IMH are working on the optimization of solar car prototype, to take part in the races organized in Spain and Europe on 2011

In their last meeting in Toulouse, the partners have signed the statutes of the network created to give continuity to their collaboration.
New Course for Curriculum Vocational Training Cycles in IMH
The official wellcome for students of the first course of Cycles was held yesterday. Students of Cooperative Engineering, first course, will begin their training on 13 September.
The IMH gets OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety at Work.
The Foundation for Machine-Tool Technical Training, which manages the IMH of Elgoibar, has obtained the Certificate OHSAS 18001:2007 Health and Safety at Work after overcoming the audit by AENOR.

The IMH will organize a study visit in Elgoibar in 2011 in collaboration with the grants of the European Vocational Training Association
