The IMH was created in collaboration with the business sector, in response to a demand for technical training within the metal-mechanics industry, particularly in those areas related to machine tooling.Image: a classroom at IMH

PARTICIPATION WITH THE R5

As a public Vocational Training Centre in the Basque Country, the IMH belongs to the Ikaslan Gipuzkoa R5 network, which develops advanced management and organisational models for education centres.

INNOVATIVE METHODOLOGY

In the educational realm, POPBL (Project Based Learning) is a model in teaching which comes closest to industrial reality.

IMH integrates IKASI+LAN training (work and study), where the students complete the training program and at the same time work part-time.

IMH offers multilingual training modules in Basque, Spanish and English.

IMH SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

Training Cycle students who wish to go on to study higher level courses, can do so at IMH Engineering, which is specially adapted to suit students from vocational training backgrounds. In the IMH Engineering department, students study and work on an annual project defined in collaboration with a company which also employs them on a part time basis.
