How does it work?
TRAINING PROJECT
- The course lasts 3 years, with students spending 2 days a week at the IMH and the other 3 days in the company. The company’s working calendar determines the student’s timetable.
- The teaching team is made up mainly by external teachers and specialists from the companies.
- All students are guaranteed personal attention: small groups and a tutor both at the IMH and in the company.
- The IMH searches for participating companies in a personalised manner, in accordance with the student's profile and background.
- Language training is complemented by a period of work experience lasting between 10 and 12 weeks in a foreign company.
This enables students to:
- Gain a good level of both spoken and written English by the end of the training period;
- Enjoy a unique and highly enriching personal experience;
- Get to know other cultures and ways of working.
INDIVIDUAL PROFESSIONAL PROJECT
At the beginning of the training period, the company and the student agree on an individual professional project which defines the knowledge and skills at a technical and human level to be acquired by the student during the course, both in the company itself and at the IMH.
The IMH Cooperative Engineering course enables students with advanced vocational training qualifications to continue their training within their specialist area if they so wish.
